Faravahar
This rendition of a section of the ancient Persepolis architecture shows a Persian cultural icon called the Faravahar. This icon is associated with Zoroastrianism and contains multiple levels of symbolism. One example is the direction the man is facing is representative of the goal to always be moving forward with progress.
