Beginning January 10th, in the first month of class, students will explore the three basic hand-building pottery techniques through guided, hands-on sessions. Course curriculum can be found below:
Session 1 (1/10/26) – Pinch Pot: Shaping clay by hand into bowls, cups, or simple sculptures.
Session 2 (1/17/26) – Coil Building: Rolling and stacking clay coils to create taller or rounded forms.
Session 3 (1/24/26) – Slab Building: Rolling and cutting clay slabs to create trays, boxes, or wall art.
Session 4 (1/31/26) – Clay Skills & Finishing: Clay handling, joining pieces, adding texture, and preparing work for firing.

We want every student to feel comfortable and confident in their class. For students attending a class at Noor Studio & Gallery for the first time: If you attend your first session and feel the class is not a good fit, you may request a full refund of your class payment. The refund request must be made within 48 hours after the first session.
2. Absences & Make-Up Credit
We understand that occasional schedule conflicts happen.
- Each 4-session package includes one (1) absence credit.
- If you notify us at least 2 hours before the class start time, we will extend your package and move your renewal date forward to make up the missed session.
- For students not on auto-enrollment, a credit will be applied to your account for that session.
Please note:
- Only one absence credit per 4-session package is allowed.
- Additional missed sessions beyond one are non-refundable and cannot be credited.
- Missed classes without at least 2-hour advance notice are counted as used sessions and cannot be credited.
